Bigger FOV in mirror?

I was thinking, is it possible to have a bigger FOV in the mirror image of the rift?
I make video/live stream and having the audience seeing half of my fov is quite annoing.
Any suggestion?
tnx 🙂

i do not understand the question but you can stream 360 video, so FOV is not a problem anymore.
anyway it is difficult to have an audience looking a something different than the main subject, because different view bring different feelings.

I mean, the part of the screen that is visible in the mirroring is "smaller" than tha one really showed in the oculus, i was hoping to make it bigger

Is it?  I haven't looked closely at it, but I thought it was a "Mirror" of one of the displays in the rift.  If it's the left you'll probably lose a tiny bit on the right side, but that's it.  If you're wanting a larger field of view, if there was a way to do it that would cause a lot higher load on your PC because it would have to render more for the monitor than would be shown in the Rift.

Actually it cut part of the upper screen too, soo is hard for viewer to see what i see in front of me sometimes

Yep, it even cut a really big part of the upper screen, and that's unfortunate when viewing some video on YT or even watch somebody live at your home using Medium. It's a problem which is their for long. It will be great if Oculus Devs fix that 🙂

A few games show everything you see through the rift on the monitor, that's when the mirror looks like this:

Since the screens in the rift are actually curved (at least they're perceived to be) the mirror image gets that ugly fisheye effect. I think that's what they're trying to eliminate when they show a cropped image instead.

Things always look "bigger" in front of the mirror 😮
