Not sure how this compares for Roborecall fans but I had fun with this. Try the Bullet Sorrow demo on Steam. The game has just been updated to include more robust content compared to the early access previously.

Honestly wasn't all that impressed. The lack of free locomotion reeeally hurts on this one.
I found the teleporting to be far too clunky (as always) but its excacerbated by the cooldown mechanic coupled with the need to actually move around in the game area. e.g. Health pickups are items sitting on objects that you have to move over to and physically grab, but you can only teleport 3 times a second. If you move to tele over to the health object and you happen to be too far away and the cooldown is on (because you already used it attack guys) you get screwed over.
This might just be because my play area is too small for free range movement (roughly 2m x 1.5m). It just means I cannot move about as freely as the game is asking me to. I think this is a game that BADLY needs free locomotion, but they are hesitant due to how it might effect the multiplayer.
Idk, I didnt bother playing online though.. maybe its better online.
I'll definitely take another look the moment they add free locomotion though.
The game looks worthy of a try. I am kinda retired from Dead & Buried since I played it to death (pun intended). I could use another solid multiplayer shooter - and I'm still hesitant to get Onward. This one looks promising; I can at least try the demo.
