I have not seen anyone comment on the integrated/changeable headphones sound quality. NE1 here have a review from CES?

They look cheaper than they actually are is what I'm getting from all the reviews I've watched.

I think it's obviously going to be hard to tell without actually trying it yourself.

Being a musician and producer I have far better quality headphones available to me, but for the average consumer they might not have, therefore I agree with the decision to include them on the Rift.

I've used apple pack in headphones before and it didn't even kill me. I think I'll be fine with these.

Editor's common disappointment spelled the built-in headphones , where they are bidding on a flat , lifeless sound without depth, while the promised 3D effect largely failed to materialize. The possibility exists , of course, to remove them and replace with your own kids, but it feels sad that it will be needed when the rest of the package feels so polished
