CV1 and cables

I've come back from a few months break from doing any serious VR gaming, and seen that we now have a CV1 release date (yay Oculus).

I was curious if its mentioned anywhere about how they planned to deal with cable management with CV1, as an owner of the DK2 myself, the cables can be quite intrusive.

If anyone can point me to any relevant articles i'd appreciate it, or feel free to leave some comments.

As far as I know, nothing has been officially mentioned by Oculus about the cable situation.

You chose a good time to come back. Everyone is expecting more info to come out of Oculus during the June 11 press event and E3.

I thought it was already "official" that Oculus uses Spectra7 chips for the CV1 which allows using ultra thin hdmi cables (hasn't Oculus ordered a huge amount of that chip yet?). Oculus CV1 needs 2 USB 3.1 and 1 HDMI port. It should be possible to manage all of these in 1 cable.

Thrilled with the info, thanks guys.

A bit off subject here but I'd rather not start another whole thread for it unless I need to.

The latest runtime (0.60) does not work under Windows 10 correct? I remember seeing some threads about it causing rolling restarts, was wondering if build 10130 has any better luck?

If you watch the Henry trailer you can clearly see when the guy bends down that there is only one thin cable from the headset as speculated. This is the crescent bay prototype so may not ship as cv1 but i can cope with one cable.

One cable would be inconvenient for that, since one of the required usb ports is going to be for the camera, same as DK2. The hmd itself isn't going to have two usb cables.
