Can someone please explain where AUS shipments are

Ok so I ordered mine 1st of July and I live in AUS, so where the absolute hell is my Rift, i've been waiting for f-ing ages and oculus has failed to explain whats happened with Australian orders. I didn't spend $460 dollars (after conversion+GST) to wait bloody ages so someone explain to me where they are.

Remain patient, as every other Australian who ordered much earlier than you has.

If you feel the need to vent, please try to do so in one of the many Australian shipping threads.. The developers forums really don't need any more of these threads.

And remember, things could always be worse; you could be living in Korea.

While Aus orders are behind and this needs to be corrected, you mentioned you ordered on the 1st of the July.

Which would mean in your case, you haven't been waiting any longer than anybody else at this point. 😕

The orders placed on the 1st of July carried an "expected" to begin shipping month of September. There is still quite a bit of September left.

Are you serious? July, you ordered July and you are complaining!! Have you not seen the shipping threads? Have you not even bothered to look? If you did you would have the information. Secondly WTF July Even priority country's are only starting July. You are either wilfully ignorant or obliviously incompetent. There have been some customs issues that are reportedly solved and there should be a batch of 500 on its way. There are 300 already in Australia but July wont be part of that batch. You might emphasis on might get into that 500 shipment.

If you would have bothered to check the multitude of other Aussie "where the hell is my Rift - I demand to know" threads you would have seen where Oculus is aware of the issue and is working to sort it out.

Try using the Search feature next time. Also look back through Cybereality's posts.

A rollout of notices just went out. Highest reported so far is 24th April. There are 300 in this shipment and 500 in the next. We will have to wait until tomorrow to see where we are up to.

I ordered mine in April and only today did I get my notification that it's being dispatched. Am I pissed about that? Nope.

You do realise that the demand for the new DK was far far greater than Oculus had anticipated?

Look on the upside.....when you get yours there'll be plenty of great content for it. Now, stop your whining.

Ps. I hope yours is still three months off.
