Can't draw chaperone lines in steam vr since update

It won't recognize me pulling the trigger to draw the lines for my boundary in steam. But my trigger works fine in game. This makes many steam games that I own unplayable now. I am not the only one with this problem since the update.

I've had the same problem. I kept going back a step or two then getting to the boundary section and trying again. It was a battle of wills, me against the Chaparone. I eventually won!

Just select the standing only portion for Steam. You don't need two boundaries as the Oculus one still works in SteamVR.

also have this issue. I have setup chaperone in the past. Now I can't redo it.

I tried.   No go as well.

Put something inside the rift, like your finger of anything to make it believe you have it on your head. It should work.

It actually makes sense to keep the Rift on your head (not covering the eyes) while walking around with your touch controller to draw the chaperone walls. That way you'll notice when the cable is to short to reach every corner of your mapped playspace.
