so I basically tried everything and followed every guide. First: DK2 works fine in direct mode.
As soon as I start the extended mode it already tells me in the oculus utility "to check the hdmi connection". I then start HL2 and it opens half on my monitor and half on the dk2 (which is set as main monitor). I then click on "activate virtual reality" mode and it tells me in the console that an HMD adapter wasn't found. So any tips? I'd be very happy.
So it seemsl ike the solution was to NOT use the adapter and instead of it use HDMI to my 970. I hope this will be fixed with the CV because normally my TV is plugged in there...
