Just to be clear, we probably won't be sending out a mass email on July 1st. My comment was in reference to a post I plan to make in the forum (and probably Reddit) regarding the DK2 shipping status. Basically it will be a new DK2 Shipping thread with the most recent information at that time. Sorry for any confusion.

1. They will be sending out a mass email soon - Soon could be days, could be a week or so. This is likely to be something along the lines of "DK2's now shipping".
2. They will be making a forum post, most likely here and on reddit, on the 1st of July with a shipping status of the DK2's. Something along the lines of "No delays, shipping still expected in July."
I requested 10 kits for free 😉 Now I think I am starting to see why every time I go to the Postal Annex to check... they are not there :cry:
Perhaps those who are super keen could request "Pre-production units" in lieu of the production dev kit they paid for. Companies will often times shy away from this option (even when they have piles of gear sitting around)... as pre-pro units often have small annoying problems (that could become BIG problems in the forums). In my experience only those who... "have a track-record of being... er... empathetic" get selected for opportunities like that.
I know that I would be thrilled to have access to thrashed gear if it would mean that I could get started over here. If it will load code I am happy.
Broken screen? Blown out speakers? .... whatever... I am just trying to get something to test with. 😉
