Coating the rift

Considering that reviews say the foam sucks up all  the sweat and its fairly unpleasant to share the rift with others for that reason
Would coating it with one of those hydrophobic sprays be an option?

I like the fabric VR Covers for the DK2. Any news when they will be available for CV1? The vinyl water proof ones look interesting too.

Im also keen to get lens protectors. I bought some for DK2 and they have worked fine. I cant remember what they were tho. Think a German company? Any one know? I want to get those for cv1 before it arrives

Yeah perhaps Oculus should develop their own high quality range of accessories for hygiene and protection.

I am suggesting max's method to the next makeup-wearing woman that wants to try the Rift.

I had a tv interviewer use my DK2, they tend to have a lot of makeup on. 🙂
(She was very apologetic when some of it stayed behind of the rift foam, but it didn't bother me, wore off pretty fast)
