So the same questions keep coming up, so I figured this would be a good idea (thanks @CardinalStorm!).

This will be a place for common questions and answers. If you have a unique issue, please feel free to make your own thread, but I will try to grab all the common stuff and add it here.

- Check the History Page to See if your Order Was Successful

If you are not sure if your order went through, please check the history page for the shop.

If you ordered as a guest and don't remember the order number, please check the confirmation email.

- Obtain Your Confirmation Email
If you did not receive your confirmation email, please go to this page and enter your email address.

- Total Price Showing as "--" or "$0.00"
This issue has been solved. If you check your history page now it should show the full price.

- Problems Changing Addresses for Asian Orders
Some Asian customers have had problems updating their address due to a bug on our side. If you were affected by this, you may have had your address automatically changed to something incorrect. This feature is now disabled, so feel free to change your address now.

- Confusion over Currency in Some Regions
Australian order are actually quoted a price in USD. Sorry for the confusion.

- Updated Shipping Estimates
The estimated shipping time should be around the date that was shown when you pr-ordered. Unfortunately, this date is calculated dynamically, and is not actually stored in the database or on your order anywhere. So Oculus Support agents will not be able to tell you the estimated shipping time if you forgot or didn't see it. At a later day we may come up with a way to give more accurate estimates, but this is to be determined at this point.

- Touch Pre-Order Reservations
Anyone that has a successful Oculus Rift pre-order will be given a reservation for Touch. It won't matter if the page had an error in that section, we will honor the reservation.

- When Does Shipping Start
Oculus Rift pre-orders will begin shipping starting on March 28th, 2016.

- Entering Your VAT Number to Remove VAT in EU
No, we don't support removing VAT from the order.

Preordered in Cali, US.  In the 26x order number group from about 5 minutes after.  I got the 1-3 week, hopefully that still puts me in the top group.  So far it sounds like only KS backers have anything besides the 1-3 week email.

Maybe cyberreality can answer this. If we're able to be home to sign for our Rifts, could we sign for the package online? I know you can do this with a lot of items, but will this be an option for the Rift?

Well, technically it wasn't "sold out" because at the time of pre-order launch there was no stock of consumer Rifts and there was no limit to the amount of pre-orders being accepted. But I get what you're saying.

I'm a UK backer and been up most of the night (due to our baby being a sleep thief). Anyway spent some of the time watching reddit and checking status.

Whilst there are a few pre-order confirmations for UK and other European countries (pretty much the three week message) there has not been a single UK or euro kick start backer who has received any updates i.e email' expect shipping soon' or change in preorder status .

Also having the launch over what is effectively a work holiday across most of Europe probably hasn't helped.

I wasn't really expecting it to be dispatched until later next week given the combination of it being a holiday and Oculus' track record for delivery dates (UK batches of the Kickstarter reward went out later for example). I'm optimistic that all the distribution channels are in a good state this time round, but I'll not be holding my breath for a Rift arriving next week. Still super excited for it though!

Also does anyone know if the Oculus store credit us Kickstarter backers got in recompense for the lack of Doom 3 VR is still valid? I know it's really cheeky given we're getting a free Rift, but it would be nice to put that towards a Touch or an Oculus store game 🙂

And also no email, with order page showing the status as "pre-order", and an order number with 72...

To get a view on euro ks backer status I put a shout on reddit to see how many backers in Europe had received an update and or status change, I recieved untold messages but not a single European backer has seen a change, all still at preorder status and no new emails .

Cybereality , do you have any in sight on eu status ?

Dont get me wrong I am immensely appreciative to be receiving a rift for free as a backer, but kinda got the fever now and wondering what the deal is with EU backers shipments.

I think I have the solution why I didn't get a shipping confirmation email or a tracking number email...
Short Version: Errors, just Errors...
Long Version: I recently looked at the date the order confirmation email was sent (since I actually had to use the request email link due to errors), January 15th... ("Screaming internally") :rage: This, along with me not actually receiving an email due to the errors when I preordered it, and contacting Support many, many times until they sent me a link on the 15th, basically means I may not get the Rift on the Launch Date that I would normally get it on, I mean it might be delayed to the end of April, due to the fact of those dumb errors AKA morons sending DDOS reports to screw up the Shop website at preorder time (maybe... I don't know if that actually happened, I'm just really pissed off)... I don't want to get into too many details how I feel because bad things may happen due to my depression... :cry:
And even people are getting Tracking Number emails and I haven't received one.
Sorry for the wall of text...
EDIT: AKA I can't receive my Rift on time because my order confirmation email never appeared until me requesting it on the 15th which in turn, since I didn't receive my email immediately after preorder, delayed my order entirely. :disappointed:

Your confirmation email isn't connected to your space in the queue. I received my confirmation email the same day as you and I ordered within 6 minutes of pre-orders. Have you tried following these steps to find your pre-order time?
