Creating Horizon World in Malaysia

Hello,

I am trying to create a store in Horizon World from Malaysia. Can I know the following?

a) Does Horizon World support Malaysia?

b) Can it be created through Oculus device only?

c) Do you need Quest Pro or Can you create it with Quest 2?

Hi @ychowdhrey , currently Horizon Worlds is supported in the following countries only: Canada, France, Iceland, Ireland, Spain, UK and USA.

It's quite a restricted list and I hope it expands to more countries soon but I haven't heard of there being any official timescale, or what countries are lined up to get access next. I have several Malaysian friend so I'd welcome them joining in.

At the moment you can only access Horizons with a VR headset, either a Rift-S connected to PC, Quest 2 or a Pro, but Meta said a couple months ago that it will become available for non-VR PC users and other devices. Maybe it'll open up to more countries at the same time.

You can definitely build worlds with a Quest 2 no problem. I have a Pro and I think it gives me a little bit of an advantage, especially when scripting. The vast majority of building is done with Quest 2's though and some of them are pretty impressive.
