DCOC runs smoother with 4.2

I've noticed that DCOC and Prepar3d run better (smoother) with 4.2. There appears to be less P3D induced judder when looking around the cockpit etc.

Does anyone else have the same opinion?

I am continuing to have better DCOC/P3D smoothness with 0.4.2 as opposed to 0.4.3 or 0.4.4.

Unfortunately Elite Dangeous (Gamma 2) now insists on 0.4.4 drivers so I am torn between two loyalties.

I used to be able to pause the service and drop a different OVRserver version into the oculus folder, but 0.4.4 wont work with the 0.4.2 low level driver in system32. This means a reinstall of the particular DK2 driver depending on the app I am about to run.

I would set up a batch file to overwrite the system32 driver and do a reboot, if I was able to overcome the file locking.

Hi Just got my DK2 and itching to give it a go with prepar3d.. Downloaded DCOC_204 and run the setup, when I click the dcoc shortcut I get a dos prompt window open and prepar3d launches in another window.. but just a normal window nothing oculus about it..
Is there more to the install, files to move or .cmd to alter.. One thing of note was my version of prepar3d is 2.0 so while I wait for 10gig of file to download I thought I would look for an answer..

Oculus is running sdk-0.4.4
Firmware-2.12
Nvidia GTX 690 x2
Nvidia driver 344.75
Occulus running in direct mode for most demos- works most of the time, if not switch to extended mode
