DK2: Issues that I have

Greetings,
I just wanted to update you guys on my current situation with the DK2 to get rid of the issues asap:

1. Direct Mode will not work at all. (Rift just stays orange lit the whole time)
2. The judder that everyone is experiencing. I currently can get the desk, tuscany, and Ocean Rift to run perfectly in extended.
3. Chromatic aberration is evident when looking at the edges of the lenses.
4. SteamVR interface looks great and runs smooth! Unfortunately the games (hl2, tf2) run very poorly with low framerate and some juddering that makes it unplayable.

My current setup is 2x GTX 460 in SLI running on Win 7 64-bit. I have one monitor (60 HZ) + my rift in extended.
If there are any possible solutions to these problems let me know 😄 .
Also, comment on your experiences with the DK2 and the problems that you may have with your setup. We may be able to help each other out here 😉

Thanks,
Scarecrow

You updated the firmware, right?

Yup. Running 0.4.1 right now. My only guess is that my SLI might be the problem, but that seems like a stretch, too...

The firmware, not the SDK. I think it's version 2.11, you update it by running the config tool, it's in the "Tools" menu at the top.

I actually just did that (updated from 2.10 to 2.11). Some demo's actually seem improved! Only some though. If it helps, the tuscany demo that runs fine shows all the information correctly when I press space (the fps is 75 etc...), but the same info in redpaws demo shows no information (0 fps and N/A for most options...). Redpaws also judders a little still.
