DK2 fov reduced by small focal sweet spot?

Was wondering whether the small sweet spot of the DK2 lenses might be making the field of view seem smaller. .

I don't think that's it. I found the DK1 had an even smaller sweet spot, yet the field of view was 5° wider.

Its actually the opposite, the larger lenses let you see the edge of the screen easier. You get the same letterbox effect if you jam the DK1 lenses right up to your eyes.

In DK2 I get blur when I look around with my eyes. I need to have my gaze directed straight forward. It was not so with DK1, so this annoys me with DK2.
