I got Fantastic Contraption with the Vive when it was first out. It was quite good fun and I imagine it will work very well with the touch controllers. I dont know if they have made any improvements or added new features since I last played it. I got stuck at one point (not too far in) and ended up giving up and not been back to it since. It could be quite a good game to play with the family over christmas though as people not in the rift can give help from the sidelines while watching on the monitor.
I think actual gameplay footage and various reviews from objective sources are quite valuable. With that said, given the videos and feedback I've seen for "Smashing the Battle", I'd say it's worth $3 for those interested in button mashing games. I would've been more hesitant, or pass, at $10.
I'll pass on the "Fantastic Contraption". $5 off $30 seems pretty meh for that.
Someone mentioned earlier that The Edge Of Tomorrow took a while for the price to change. Theres maybe an error, id wait to see if the price comes before purchasing, I thought the daily specials were going to have a heavier discount too.

I think it was £18.99, then went down to £14.99 for the daily special. Cant confirm though as I already had it purchased so doesnt show the price. I think there is another Winter Sales thread that someone mentioned it mate.
