Developer Giveaways - Twitter and resident of United States

How Do I Enter?

1. You must have a Twitter account to participate in the giveaway.

2. You must be a resident of the United States.

3. Retweet to be entered in the giveaway!

First: Let me say that I think it is cool to have things like giveaways at all. I really think.
Second: Let me say that I hate Twitter. I really do. I think it makes mankind dumber. They could have named it #facepalm. It is like reddit without nerds. Don't let me start talking about that.
Third: I wasn't born in the USA. Yeah... I think I have to blame my parents for that failure.

Let me guess why: All giveaways are sponsored by Oculus. They give away free games and in return you make some advertisement via Twitter for it, right?

Question: Is there a chance to participate at some point on a giveaway if I'm not a resident of the United States? I doubt I could come around the Twitter part, so I'm out anyway, but for some people it might be interesting to know.
Otherwise I will simply ignore those Delevoper-Giveaway-Threads if I could not participate anyway.

I dont think Twitter makes mankind dumber, I think mankind is inherently stupid and Twitter is one of many sources of evidence.

I have 2 twitter followers and i shall not be tweeting any publicity to them about this.

Funny stuff over (haha) - i agree, it would be nice to involve the rest of the world.

EDIT:  it does say in some of the earlier posts that they are trying to open these up to all.
