From the Kickstarter rules: Project Creators agree to not abuse other users' personal information. Abuse is defined as using personal information for any purpose other than those explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project, or is not related to fulfilling delivery of a product or service explicitly specified in the Project Creator’s Project.
This means OR may not give FB any information about the backers or the developers, NOTHING not even our names, or they can expect to face a huge class action lawsuit.

OR doesn't have to worry about alienating their true fans and developers since they are now the minority. Now that facebook is involved, the common masses are their target demographic. Also, now they can get big name companies to make games for the rift.
