Do Oculus listen to customer feedback?

Do Oculus listen to customer feedback? If they do they should make CV2 a lot more comfortable then CV1. Thanks to the Guys at VR cover though, I am now able to wear my CV1 headset for as long I want. The Pu leather foam that sits on your face that these guys use is a God send. I couldn't wear the headset longer then 30 mins without it irritating my skin before buying this. Now I spent a whole 5 hours in it last night and I had no problems wearing it at all. I don't even have to wear the sock they supply you with because the PU leather foam is so comfy on the face. I'm just surprised Oculus didn't use this materiel instead. I use the thick PU leather foam one from VR cover because I find it the most comfy.

@cybereality - You might need to have a word with them if they are making a CV2

Good to hear that those covers are awesome as i am going to order myself one tonight or tomorrow !

I am sure they learn from any mistakes they make but as with anything in business you have to make compromises here and there because at the end of the day in the world we live in unless you can make money you won't have a business that thrives. But if the covers on the rift are really -that- bad (I am waiting for mine to arrive still) i am sure whatever the next version ends up being will improve.

End of the day very few multi-million/billion dollar companies have successive items being worse in quality each generation. It does happen but it's not the norm

The stock face ring isn't the most uncomfortable thing ever, but some people seem to react poorly to the foam. My problem with it was that with active games like Robo Recall, it got really soaked with sweat and became pretty disgusting to wear.

Anyway, I also use the VR Covers interface, and I agree that the PU leather (what the heck is PU?) is really comfy.

DK2, CV1, Go, Quest, Quest 2, Quest 3.

I think PU leather is just a different name for "fake" leather - could be wrong though

Does VR Cover keep you from sweating so much?  I can't play games for a long time because I start sweating like a whore in church.  I'm skinny not fat and this is almost unbearable, if I play something like Thrill of the fight, the rift foam is drenched in sweat and is nasty as all hell and that's in a round or two.

The VR Covers padding doesn't soak up the sweat like the foam does. A quick wipe and it's reasonably clean and ready to go.

Excellent, I'll have to give these a try for sure then.

PU leather is generally a split leather backing with a Polyurethane coating. It was made as a product that was easier to maintain and clean compare to 100% natural leather.
