Do scalped Oculus Rift units have a warranty?

If you buy an Oculus rift from Ebay or if you buy it used, does the unit still have a warranty? Trying to get an official response, I know Oculus is pretty good about preventing scalping, this would be a pretty good deterrent.

We haven't revealed warranty information yet, so please stay tuned. Thanks.

In the UK a warranty of 12 months is a requirement but I'm not sure on transfer of that warranty between end users, perhaps that would be a nice weasel clause. Still, it'll be a small price to pay to honour an end user warranty as long as it is less than 12 months since the original purchase for a good user experience.

Not sure about buying 2nd hand but AFAIK European law and the (what used to be called ) sale of goods act means uk 12 month warranty is moot .

Warranty should be 2 years for us even if it only says 1 year. I knew their had to be some advantage being shackled to the eurozone 🙂
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR 🙂
