Doh, touch controller trigger not working...

Well I was super pleased with touch and still am, apart from I was just streaming some demos and my right controlle trigger button just jammed.

It stuck in and wouldn't pop back out. I've checked there is nothing caught in it, and I can pull it back out with my finger but when I press it in, it will not spring back out 😞

Anyone got any ideas?

Well, it was super weird, the trigger was stuck, there was nothing around it as I could pull it out with my thumb nail, but felt like it was rubbing or sticking against something. I popped the battery compartment off, then saw a small screw, I went in the garage to go get a screw driver and turn that, but noticed it had popped back out?

No idea why or how, now it is working fine again?

Not sure what to do, it may happen again, I guess best to still raise a case? I can show a clip of it hold on...

Absolutely.  Worse they can tell you is to sod off.  Never hurts to put in a ticket.

Got mine about two hours ago.  Finished watching a movie, then hopped into first contact.  Now I am downloading the touch activated games and I think I will hit superhot and climb (I'm afraid of heights  😄 )!

I will raise a ticket as there is no way it should have just stuck in, it was like the body of the controller was rubbing against the button, or the spring mech jammed.

Enjoy the games!

I've put a few clips of when it happened in the support forum, also raised a ticket with the link to the video.

I found a really easy fix for this problem and without opening the controller.
Cut a strip of plastic coated paper and jam the strip in between the underside of the stuck trigger and the case and push the jammed rubber pad out of the way with the paper, your trigger will be as good as new..and no squeaky noises!
