Is there something up with the servers right now? I'm trying to update Oculus video and download blazerush but it's extremely slow, and even going backwards? o.O
My speed is 200 mb and I did a speed test and no issues here. Restarted Oculus home but still have the problem...
Test....On the East Coast it is currently 542pm and CMOAR Cinema VR is installing. It is currently at 9% and is only 376MB total. With a 1GB up and down pipe here this should take no longer than say till 550pm and in reality it should be quicker than that.
Its now 615pm on the East Coast so roughly 40 minutes later and CMOAR is at 81 percent. So when I first posted Oculus had downloaded rough 30 mb of a 376 mb program. 40 minutes later it has downloaded roughly 243mb. Keep in mind this is on a line that is fiber to the house 1GB up and down. It is Oculus software, it is not bandwidth throttling as other things are running fine. Verizon is not throttling specific traffic to Oculus either as I updated my Quest and is fine. The dev team on the Rift needs to get it together and while Facebook loves the quest right now they better keep in mind their loyal Rift owners who started it all.
I started downloading rift-s at 2:30 pm it is now 7:21 pm still have 1.2 gb to go out of 7.28gb this a new cyberpower with 240ssd 2tb hdd ryzen 7 3700x 3.6ghz,, does anyone know why it is so slow

Ya, crappy software that has never once been optimized and has been patched a gazillion times. Ever drive down a road that has never been resurfaced and just had that crappy cheap patch stuff to fill in the potholes for 20 years? Same thing.
