Elite Dangerous: Optimize the graphic?

Hi. I'm a total newbie to ED and I love it. Only the graphics with the Oculus is not really shiny. Are there possibilities to tweak the graphic? Are there hidden options in a config-file or something similar? The flimmering on edges is extreme. Can I change the anti-aliasing or similar?

Supersampling makes no difference for me: https://forums.oculus.com/community/discussion/51811/elite-dangerous-super-sampling-makes-no-differe...

Look, man. I only need to know one thing: where they are.

Leave supersampling at 1.0 and up the "hmd image quality" to 1.25x. I start on vr ultra and lower ss to 1 an push up hmd image quality. I have a 1080 and can crank up both at the same time but with stutters in stations that I do not like. So it is either one or the other for me and image quality looks much nicer than ss. I also bump up environment quality up to ultra.

Try to avoid setting two individual levels of supersampling.

If you can keep it to just one level of supersampling it will greatly reduce the amount of processing your PC will need to do. That should hopefully keep your frame-rates tip top.

Also Fredd32's suggestion is what I'd go for too 🙂
