Elite Dangerous, Windows 10, Runtime 0.7+ Hassle Free

For anyone who's interested, I've written a short Autoit script to run Elite Dangerous installed on Windows 10 without having to manually mess with 0.7+ runtime.
It stops the 0.7+ runtime, starts 0.5 runtime, launches the game, then stops the 0.5 runtime & restarts 0.7+ when the game exits (when you close the launcher screen).

It builds on the method found to run ED on Windows 10 put together by NeoZeroo and LazyDodo over at /r/Oculus, so credit to them!
This autoit script benefits from not having to run any CMDs and it removes the orphaned system tray icons that build up when using the CMD files.

You'll still need the 0.5 runtime and DLLs so download from mega. https://mega.nz/#!eQE3lJpT!DZqBY63AERwu ... bOFM4B8Fks

Unzip this into your Windows folder so that the Oculus_500 folder is in C:\Program Files (x86) and the DLLs are in the respective System32 and SysWOW64 folders. You don't need the Switch folder in Oculuc_500 as this script does everything in there.

If you haven't used Autoit before, don't panic, all you need to do is:

1. Install Autoit (it's free)
2. Save the attached txt files but change txt to au3
3. Edit the Elite Dangerous.au3 file within Autoit so that the Steam game path matches your own installation.
4. Copy the SysTray.au3 file into the 'Include' folder of the Autoit installation before compiling.
5. Use Autoit to compile the Elite Dangerous.au3 into an exe
6. Run the resulting exe as administrator (don't forget this bit).

7. If the ED Launcher window opens in the Rift and ED runs on the monitor, you need to change desktop settings so your monitor is the 'main display', do this while the launcher is open (only has to be done once).
8. Enjoy ED on Windows 10 hassle free.

Note, you don't need Autoit installed to run the compiled exe.

this is for the Steam version, but should also work on the non-Steam version, just change
'"D:\Program files (x86)\Steam\Steam.exe" -applaunch 359320' to whatever your game path is.
