Forget wanting a new series.... this right here is the future of Star Trek. Imagine a co op game where you actually are a crewmen on a persistent enterprise.
I mean, I've seen schematics of the Enterprise D (i'm not a nerd, you're a nerd!), and I've see how large the main docking bay is, but to actually see it is really impressive!
I can't wait to see this continue. Especially excited to see crew walking about (hopefully!)
We are actually going to rename the DK2 to the PDBTIYANAD2 (please don't buy this if you are not a developer 2).

There were a few FPS games set in the Star Trek universe years ago, one in particular was awesome but I can't for the life of me remember their names.
Kevin, the bloke that lives in one of the flats downstairs from me is a huge Star Trek fan and would probably need to seek urgent medical attention after seeing something like this in VR...mind you so would I probably lol. He's called his cat Spock cos he has big pointy ears 😄
Is this the same old project, improved and expanded?
Because I tried the old one on DK2 and walked away a little disappointed. Graphics quality was not good enough to really make me feel I'm there... although I watched Star Trek in the 90's and on a small TV so I can just as well have no idea how it should look like :mrgreen: And it lacked a crew. And a Klingon ship ahead.
+1 to the awesomeness of the online game. I'd like to be a crew member, but only if the captain is bold. I don't even want to hear about any captain that has hair. Patrick Stewart ruled and rulez. BTW. Do you watch American Dad? His CIA's boss role is superb. Just a "slightly" different character to J.L. Picard. 😉 Not much, really. :twisted:
Not an Oculus hater, but not a fan anymore.

Oculus is driven by big corporation principles now. That brings painful effects already, more to come in the future. This is not the Oculus I once cheered for.
