I think they are still struggling for stock. Just shipped a few out they already had to fulfil the promise of a first quarter shipment and are still awaiting for the bulk to arrive in the relevant locations.
Not entirely true. My order time was 6 minutes after and I haven't received my 1-3 week email. At this point no one has any fucking clue what is going on.
I am a 27X and apparently my order time was 01/06/2016 @ 4:11pm (UTC). I thought I had ordered in the first 5 minutes but not sure if it is on order completion.

I think the people who are part of development and reviews who went to the events and certain private invitational only events in person had a secret area to pre-order. Everyone who ordered from launch day probably started at CV1 order 200k 1 like 200,000 and order 1 of CV1 is 200,001.

Nah, two of my friends are getting theirs today, they aren't developers or reviewers or Youtubers, they haven't been to any events - in fact, I follow VR much more closely than either of them (mine's an April estimate though due to site problems; all three of us were trying to preorder at the exact same time, I was the unlucky one).
