Everytime I reboot my computer, oculus opens!

Can you please FIX THIS ! Since the latest update 1.33.0 everytime I reboot my computer, oculus opens and turns on the headset. I dont understand everytime you do an undate , you break it. You need to do a better job of testing your updates before you roll them out. What would be the reasoning to have oculus automatically open everytime the computer is rebooted?

CTRL+ALT+DEL select task manager
Go to the startup tab and look for the Oculus client if its listed you can select it and then disable it.
I just did the update and it didn't do this on my PC after several reboots now.
If it is listed you can disable it there if its not post back and there are other places to look.

You can also use these instructions
https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/4026268/windows-10-change-startup-apps
  • Select the Start  button, then select Settings  > Apps > Startup. Make sure any app you want to run at startup is turned On.

  • If you don’t see the Startup option in Settings, right-click the Start button, select Task Manager, then select the Startup tab. (If you don’t see the Startup tab, select More details.) Select the app you want to change, then select Enable to run it at startup or Disable so it doesn’t run.
Good luck

That would make sense, but unfortunately Oculus is not there

Hmm I wonder if its Windows restarting the app as if it thinks its still running when you shut down.
I have had that happen when I shut down without closing the Oculus client first. Chrome also does this if I leave it open and shut the computer down.

I found my VR-cover was a bit lower than normal, this was activating the face sensor because my rift thought I'd put them on... adjusted the cover and problem went away... took a few weeks to figure out. Had scripts to stop and start oculus services manually for a while... yes  laughed at myself when I found solution...
