Feral Rites Aussie Price $79.99

Stupidly high price for such a game.  Was mildly interested until seeing the price.  Rapidly losing interest in new VR content lately and pissed off at the unfair pricing of titles on the Aussie Oculus Store,  which does not reflect exchange rate.  😕

Picked up pre-order digital key for Mafia III Deluxe Edition with all pre-order content plus Season Pass which includes 3 new stories for aussie $66.  Now that is value for what will be an epic game.   B)

So what about my comment made you dislike it? The reference to the dislike button? The fact that I supported the idea of one of the few vr games ever made got a huge price drop? Did I insult your latest fps purchase by calling it a rehash? My mad link copy/paste skills? Being ironic to dislike a dislike?

Im not buying any games that uses 3rd person view,
I would not even give it a try if it was for free to be honest.

I was just making fun of it because the price drop proofs what a whack ass game it is.

Quite glad that I'm not so closed minded as you, some of the greatest games have been 3rd person. But hey that's just me not being a game nazi when I've spent around a 1000$ to play games virtually. I'd rather try it and decide I don't like it if that's the case, instead of denying myself what could be great fun.

I'm just making fun of your choice, because to ignore and scoff at such a massive price drop proves what a whack ass gamer you are.

wtf lol if a game is great nobody whould sell it after a week for 20 % of the regular price.

So if a game is released and then a week later a big batch of games go on a seasonal sale, and it's included with them, it's proven and automatically a bad game? That is 66% off btw, and the reason they did it was already apparent. They overpriced it in the first place because they spent a lot making it, and they wanted at least a tiny bit back. They realized their mistake and fixed it dropping the price an insane amount, and even rewarded the people who took the steep price dive. What about a massive company doing this makes it a bad thing? The fact that you have the more reasonable choice now that it's 1/5th price? The fact that other devs might see this and want to give back to this new community as well? The fact that it made numerous people in it happy?

Meh- people bitching over a software sell. Get over it. Different markets will have different cost and some will have deals going on more than others.

"This game sucks because it costs a lot"
"This game MUST suck because it DOESN'T cost a lot!"

I like how these people will use a game's price to justify their uneducated opinions of it, no matter WHAT the game's price actually is, even when they completely contradict themselves.   They insist that the devs need to lower the price,  devs listen to them and lower it, and then they insult the game/devs for it?   The phrases "Look a gift horse in the mouth" and "Impossible to please" come to mind.  So do the words "Petty" and "Ingrate".

Also, it doesn't occur to them that the insanely low TEMPORARY SALE PRICE of $10 could be in response to all the wishy-washy people going "Well this LOOKS like ____ so I'm not going to give it a chance" or "I'm not going to play this until I see some reviews or something"?   VR is still an insanely small market.  If a game doesn't stir up enough hype before release, drastic measures can be required to get the word of mouth out at all.

If the game was actually crap, the $10 price would be permanent.   Instead, they're confident that once they lure people in by practically giving the game away, enough of those people will say good things that others will buy it at $30.
It's hard being the voice of reason when you're surrounded by unreasonable people.

This price drop allows for any vr enthusiast a reason to give it a chance, last I remember everyone was complaining about no demo/refunds. At under $10 to try it instead of $50, this thing seems like a step in the right direction in this world of overpriced lacking in content games that vr is currently stuck in.

Have you ever been in the passenger seat of a car? Or sat inside a moving bus, boat, airplane, or train? That's 3rd Person View.

I love all genres of gaming: First Person View (BattleField, Halo); 3rd Person View (Elder Scrolls, MMORPG'S); God View (WarCraft 2, StatCraft, Final Fantasy).

There are so many legendary titles that are not 3rd person view: Metroid, Zelda, Diablo, IceWind Dale, Baldurs Gate, Planescape: Torment.

Any protest against non-FPS is a protest against smarts.

You just trying to upfront with anybody on this forum.

BTW, when Im sitting in the passenger seat of a car my view is still a 1st person perspective.  😄

When your camera is mounted behind a character in 3rd person view, that camera is still a 1st person perspective.

Don't try to be witty, it doesn't suit you.

still not buying

9.99 - 7.99 = 2.00

Are you counting pennies to plan your VR Library purchases?

If you don't buy third person view games you'll end up missing out on Chronos and Edge Of Nowhere, both of which are top quality games going by the vast majority of feedback I've seen.

So now 3st. person view = 1rd.person view
your statement is very ambivalent. (You can look up the word in a dictionary)
