Forum is horrible and things still broke

Can't insert pictures. When the thing comes up it gives the option of entering an image URL but surprise, it doesn't work. You have to end up saving the image to your phone and upload it, and even then, it doesn't insert the image right, and it complains that there is no message body.

I have seen that other issues I have brought to attention have been fixed however such as randomly losing everything I've typed over and over again. Glad to see that the web design team is being led by a random dude posting on the general forum.

Your problem is probably related to doing it on your phone. I have no trouble inserting pictures from my PC (copy and paste from another website works fine), but I do struggle to do it on my iPad.

I believe that has improved somewhat (I used to not even get the toolbar above the text window, so I couldn't post links or anything), but I think last time I tried i still had to save a picture to my device before I could successfully add it onto a post.

I can confirm - I have the same issue with images from internet not working. Either I upload from my computer or there's no way to insert any image into a post.

But that's nothing compared to the biggest issue - average time between logging in and posting a post with already prepared text, takes... 3-10 minutes.
Here's why:



This shit happens all the time. OK, not exactly. 9/10 of the times.
I need to log in, exit to main forum, wait, open a random thread, wait, check if the bug is finally gone, and then attempt to make a post. 
Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't, forcing me to waste up to 15 minutes to add a post.

I asked a moderator about it. All I got was "it's our anti-spam filter".
I still have no answers to those two questions:
1. Why this anti-spam system treats me like a spammer when I never ever posted a single letter on this forum that inlcuded any sort of spamming?
2. Why is this bug still here after like 4 months since it showed up?

Annoying. Very annoying.

Another thig is if you're in the "community home" forum section which shows threads from all sub forums, when you click on a thread and go back, it's not smart enough to remember that you were in the "community home" section and instead brings you to the aforementioned thread'a respective sub forum.

This can be confusing if you don't know it happened because it looks like certain threads disappeared.

Some other problems to add to the list:

1) When the ground is super wet, the internet seems to get slower
2) When the sky is cloudy, satellites are less effective
3) If you don't put gas in your car, it eventually stops moving

Dear Oculus, fix these problems asap.

The desktop site should be working well, except for the permissions bug that sometimes happens. On mobile, I know there are still a few issues, and I'll be sure to track those down. And it wouldn't surprise me if the issue is unique to certain operating systems, browsers, phones, etc. there are a lot of variables.

In terms of the "you don't have permission" thing, usually just hard refreshing the page will fix that. It's a rare bug, I'm on the forum all day, every day, and I only see that maybe once a week (if even that). It has nothing to do with the spam filter.

I found on my setup here that the permission bug was caused by AdBlock.  Once I disabled AdBlock on the domain I didn't see the error anymore.  Not sure if it applies to the issues others are having, but putting it out there in hopes it might help.

The permission thing is nowt to do with not being able to post images (ok, well yeah, if you have the permission thing you can't post full stop lol).

I posted about this on 12th July in another of danknugz forum threads:

I sign in but get the "you do not have permission" message.  I then click on other parts of the forum and it appears to sign me out for a couple of seconds then i'm signed in again.  Only when i eventually click on something and i stay signed in can i post.
