Hi
i am very new to the vr experience but am amazed. My sister in law will be coming to stay and we have a quest 3 for her. She is my wife’s sister and has cancer and only a couple months to live. My wife and I would like to get recommendations on some games or experiences that she can enjoy in her last few months. I have the Wander app and set her up on my Amazon account so she can watch some videos. Is there a simple shooting game that just lets you start shooting without having to acquire guns and ammo etc? She used to shoot as a younger person. Also what is your favorite fishing app? Any other suggestions are appreciated.
thanks for your help. Love the Meta Quest 3.

For example you can turn on: bulletproof (you can't be hurt), bottomless (no reloading), threatless (enemies don't shoot) and unobstructed (no obstacles to dodge). Then the game is basically a scrolling shooting gallery with groovy music.
All of the other shooting games I know require effort to get to the guns and find ammo. Arizona sunshine is probably my favorite serious guns game, but it's a pretty intense zombie survival game with limited ammo.
I would have said Audica too (another rhythm gun game) but it was pulled from the store (possibly because the music licensing expired).
Another interesting option, Walkabout Mini Golf. It's a lot of fun, very relaxed. I put my 75 year old mother in it and she picked it up pretty quickly (and beat me on one hole)

Depending on the type of shooting it is you're after, I have a couple suggestions!
I've been told by a number of people that Clay Hunt VR is an incredibly true-to-life simulation of skeet shooting. I haven't tried it myself but there's a free trial available if you want to check it out before purchasing!
For more combat-focused stuff, Onward is an excellent military focused game with a massive shooting range and decent weapon customization with attachments and ammunition types. It's currently in the Meta Quest+ Games catalogue, along with a bunch of other great titles!

Thanks for the reply. I will check these out.

My favorite shooting game is Pistol Whip.
You can apply a heap of modifiers to simplify (or make harder) the game. For example I turn off the obstacles, since I don't want to have to crouch and move to the side.

Thanks I looked at it and it might work if I can modify it for her.

There is nothing special to do for the modifiers.
They are in-game options..... you just have to pick what you want/need.🙂
