Whenever I have a game update available, I used to be able to see what the changelog was by clicking the "whats new" link, but now it just tells me the revision number of the update and thats it. It happens on all games I've checked.
Its up to the developers to post a changelog when updating their build, unfortunately most just use internal codes/revision numbers, though i have seen some titles get detailed lists
