From having to download a million weather, track, car, traffic, reshade settings in Content Manager
to tweaking a bunch of different sliders just right or else things won't run smoothly
then having to read a textbook and download more software just to figure out how to use a steering wheel with force feeback
where with GT7 its just plug and play.
I dabbled a bit in Automobilista 2 and while not as frustrating is still bit of a headache in its own right.
Project Cars 2 seems to be plug and play and very easy to setup from the little bit of time i spent with it atleast.
but again, nothing beats the simplicity of GT7, everything just works, u want VR? just put on the headset, no tinkering around and testing things out. U want a different track or weather, just select it. U want to use a steering wheel, sure...here ya go......Badda bing, badda boom.
