You guys are lucky. My original stated ship date was March. Wish I took a screenshot of it but I had no idea there were going to be all these problems. Now my ship date estimate is June 6 to June 16! I wonder if this has something to do with being in Canada.
My pre-order was from batch 31, within the first 45 minutes of the 1/6/16 pre-order date. I signed in as a guest. I saw people here saying there was an update today for some, and I had got the email update last week, so I checked my order history today and for the very first time it had an estimated shipping date - 5/30-6/9. I still think they should tell us why tomorrow and possibly consider another measure of compensation for not telling us more last week(which they had to have known there would be more delays across the board by that point).
And of course(why not)....word has gotten out before their BIG update:
I'm a Kickstarter backer, and my shipping just got updated to August!!! So do i win a prize for going from March delivery to August? (5 month delay). 😞 I really would have just preordered if I knew this earlier.
Edit: It looks like TheTwistgibber has confirmed that KS backers will continue to be distributed via an alternative allocation and will be updated so their order history shows TBD again.
Damn dude thats further than me and im in June now July =/ Who knows maybe because ur a Kickstarter maybe ull get the touch controllers for free along with ur Oculus Bundle 😃 I do hope they do something even more special for the Kickstarter's because u guys been there since the very beginning ❤️ Im guessing August = Touch release.
FB/Oculus tossed that BS FREE shipping cause they have majorly F'ed up in a major way. With Palmer Luckey addressing all clients/customers (KS and Pre-Orders) as if they are part of a loyal cult or something.

Wife even says I shouldn't have ordered the Oculus Rift. Then she just followed up w/ get our money back!!
I assumed those who had been given the 1-3 week ship estimates would be accurate. It's disappointing to have my order delayed a second time now... and not by days, but weeks.
Some of us were given those emails just days before launch. When did they discover the component shortage?
I guess it doesn't really matter at this point. We at least have our ship dates. But I will say this, if my ship date is delayed again, I'm cancelling my preorder. I really hope it doesn't come to that.
