Info on the positional tracking from Newell:The first prototype of our hardware has all these retro-reflective dots. That's great for one person who's sitting. If you actually want to have ten people in a room moving around, you need something like Lighthouse. So Lighthouse gives you that precision; it's not specific to the head-mounted display. We also use it for controllers, but you could use it for anything: you could put it on your tablets or your phones. It's tracking -- it happens that VR likes to use tracking and it's critically dependent on it.So we're gonna just give that away. What we want is for that to be like USB. It's not some special secret sauce. It's like everybody in the PC community will benefit if there's this useful technology out there. So if you want to build it into your mice, or build it into your monitors, or your TVs, anybody can do it.

YES of course

NO, they are focused in mobile platform, preparing an Oculus Store to sell us apps based on the mobile market concept. (remember, is Facebook after all, we are just numbers and statics)
Why Valve is working in his own headset considering Oculus was doing the same?
Because Valve knows Oculus is focused in mobile platforms and it is not interested at all in high quality VR PC Based. They knew they are alone in this field.
Will I still care about Oculus?
Even though I love my DK2, it was a peace of hardware made under the original concept, without Facebook involved. Now, Oculus is Facebook, it is all about money and they saw moneys under Candy crush / Farmville stile.
Valve has all my attention now.

I fully disagree. Facebook made Crescent Bay a reality. Otherwise we will had the DK2 as a CV1 now. I repeat myself: Oculus will sell the Rift for PCs! The mobile sector is for Samsung.

Of course Oculus will releace a rift for PC.
it won't be the first, it won't be the best, and you know why? because Facebok saw money in the mobile market and that is all about.
Do you really think Facebook will work based on the VR DREAM? no dude, Facebook = money.

 Every Company = Money
And Facebook isn't always mobile, you know?
