HUD, thumbstick to push vr screen further away, & rotate/twist the screen with the wrist

I have a few issues:

  1. The screen is always too close, and is not repositionable without standing up and literally walking it to the desired distance away from me.
  2. If I want to lay on my side when watching films in the browser on full screen.  To do this I have to use lying down mode and then hold the meta button so that screen rotates correctly.  The issue with this is that the virtual environment's ground also rotates, which I find quite disorientating, in almost a travel sick way.
  3. I like to use the headset when weight training.  I'd love to watch films, but the screen constantly goes out of view when I move between equipment.

Solutions:

1.  Use the thumb stick to push and pull the screen, like we always could on the CV2.  It was so intuitive that I still find myself trying to do it out of habit.

2. Allow users to rotate and tilt the screen when not in lying down mode.  Just like with the virtual desktop app.  This would also remove the need to repeatedly recentre the screen using the meta button every time you reposition your head/sitting/lying position.

3. HUD mode, which allows panels to lock to the headset rather than the room.

I’m having the exact same issue. I don’t understand why they would remove the ability to push or pull the screen with the thumb sticks. It was genuinely so intuitive that I hate using my quest without it as I enjoy frequently sifting through different screens at once. I’m really hoping they bring it back.
