Had someone Eyeissues after using the Rift for 2 Hours?

A Friend of mine that has his Rift a few days now told me today, that he had a massive bluried vision after unsing the Rift more than 2 Hours in a row.

Seems that his eyes took about 20 Minutes to "refocus" in the "Real World". He said he wasnt able to look clear for about 20 Minutes.

Is that True?

Even a German online PC Mag (http://www.golem.de) has written about this "issue".

Anyone had similar experiences so far?

Well, not me, becuase i did read the safety warning, and i can understand that its not really good for your eyes to have a screen 4" away blasting light through lenses onto your cones and rods for 2 hours straight.

If you ask me its not that weird, and i don't think its really dangerous, as your eyes will most likely recover to "normal" settings

I was under the impression your eyes were relaxed in the Rift, as if viewing something very far away, despite how close the screen is. Or is a matter of having trouble focusing on close objects when you get out of the Rift, since your eyes haven't had to do so the entire time inside, even when things are "close"? In that case, it probably wouldn't be any different for me than when I use reading glasses. My eyes are relaxed reading a book up close or whatever, but it takes only seconds for them to "wake up" once I take the glasses off.

That said, I think it's a good idea for any long-term games like Elite: Dangerous to have a system clock display somewhere on screen so you know what time it is and how long you've been inside. Elite could put it somewhere on the ship's dashboard, unobtrusive but available.

I actually have blurred vision for like 5 minutes when I'm done using the Rift for an hour. It returns to normal, but it's really weird. I also have 20:20 vision regularly.
