I got my focus vision through Amazon today but I placed the displayport kit order through Vive since Amazon had an ETA of late November. The cables are still listed as preorders on vives site and it's a little annoying not having an answer on its ETA
I preordered mine from Vive Australia and both the headset and DP streaming adapter is showing to be shipped. I got a tracking notification from the shipper and it’s supposed to arrive later today. So, hopefully I’ll find out soon.
Since I’ve mainly bought it for dedicated DP PCVR, without this adapter there is no way to properly test it out. Especially since my local Vive store only has a 14 day return window. You may be ok since I believe Amazon has a 30 day return window.
Edit; Looks like my shipping date has been moved out 1-2 days (now est. Thurs/Friday). At least the shipping info I got was that there are 2x parcels. So hopefully 1x headset and 1x DP adapter.
