Hi, i have bought recently a quest 2 and i would like to play it wireless in my room. My router is in the same room but as far as i know my Technicolor TG589vn v3 does not support the 5ghz band. Is there any possibility to play games with the 2,4 ghz band? Thanks a lot

I did last year, if you move real slow as to not want to confuse the tracking and no fast head movement, it might get you by lol.  Seriously you should try it, Virtual desktop has come along way since then. If anything it will probably inspire you to upgrade. That's one upgrade I recommend you do.

For goodness sake, if you want good Quest (Q1 or Q2) wireless performance using Virtual Desktop, you need a better router capable of 5Ghz wifi.  Go to the Virtual Desktop discord channel for lots of tips and suggestions.  This is not exactly rocket science imho.

Exactly. I got me a wifi 6 router a couple of days ago and set it up as a dedicated access point for the Quest 2. Works brilliantly. 🙂
