If it's the Odyssey+ it's a (should I say was?) cracking little headset but the Quest 3 is leaps and bounds more advanced.
Do a search of the forum for best VR experiences, what should I try first - something like that - you'll get plenty of results.

The Odyssey is a WMR (Windows Mixed Reality) headset. Microsoft are discontinuing WMR, they've said in 2026 they are stopping downloads of the software needed to run all WMR headsets (Odyssey, HP Reverb G2, etc).

The next one hasn't been confirmed but it's rumored to be called the Meta Quest 3s or Quest Lite which is a trimmed down version of the 3.

Samsung's followup to the Odyssey hasn't been released that one is focused on XR and doesn't have a name yet. It likely won't be using Windows Mixed Reality because that was discontinued and will be built on a VR optimised version of Android instead.
You can find articles on it under Samsung XR Infinite

For a tethered PC VR headset you have flexibility of choosing the applications like SteamVR, Virtual Desktop or Bigscreen VR. For videos, use YouTube.
