Help! Can’t use Quest $$ as don’t know store pin

I was gifted a VR set for my birthday.  A relative set up primary account.  I recently redeemed a Meta gift card onto the account via my headset.  But I can’t purchase anything as I don’t know the store pin.

The relative is gone and I have no details of the primary account.

Can anybody help or have I lost my Meta $$ because I don’t know the store pin my relative set and have no way of getting that information?

You can request an email with a link to reset the PIN if you don't know it or have forgotten it.

But if you don't have access to the primary account's email, that's useless. I'm afraid, in that case the money is lost.

A Tip..... you should buy games on your own account, not on an account from another person. The games are bound to the account, not to the headset.
Also, it will avoid problems like the one you have now.....

You will need your relative to help you gain access. I'm sure you can see how your situation and that of someone with a stolen headset might look similar.
