How can I get oculus apps back on my S6 edge

colinnwese

I downloaded oculus apps when I used my phone on my friends vr device. I subsequently deleted the apps thinking I did not need the apps. Only a couple days later I bout a vr myself but I can not get the vr to prompt my phone to download oculus apps.

I have a oculus account and can access my account on the Web but that's about it. I can not delete the vr services apps. I am at a loss as I have a phone that won't work with the vr.

Please help anyone.

So you suggest uninstall and reinstall?

Ah ...

I would attempt to uninstall them again using this method from Oculus:

Reboot your phone

Have a look at this to make sure its all on

, reboot phone again

Plug your phone into Gear VR

Yes give it a go, I know its a pain in the ass ... but messing around with the process can cause issues.

I can not uninstall gear vr services....it only allows me to force stop it...is this correct?

Hmmm odd ... can you force stop it, go back to home, settings applications and see if you can uninstall it then?
