I begin to suspect that something is wrong with my Steam app. When I start Steam in VR mode by clicking the upper right VR button, my VR ready games dosent appear in the VR part of the game list. The only thing in that list is SteamVR room setup and SteamVR tutorial.
Even when VR has ben activated in Steam, I can´t chose to play a game like Dirt rally or Assetto corsa "in VR mode". When i start let´s say Assetto Corsa, i get the message: "Dirt rally will launch into an environment in your VR HMD as well as on your desktop. Performance may not be acceptable in this mode, to launch this game only on your desktop please exit SteamVR before launching the game". Is this normal, or am I in some kind of middle mode?
Your alright, that last part is normal, seems some games are not fully compatible, yet you can just start them in that mode, its ok. As for setting a category, I made my own VR category and just set all my VR games to that one. yet don't worry, some games are just tricky when started via Steams VR.
