How do You know if you have the Lenses at the best distance apart?

or if you need to adjust. Apparently i heard/read that they have to be correctly to match your eyes in order to get the best quality visuals. I just kind of guessed and adjusted to whatever, and it looks blurry .

Should i readjust the lenses to something else?

The Oculus setup has a screen at one point where you adjust the separation while looking at vertical lines, until they look as clear as possible. The other option is to measure your inter-pupil distance and set it to match that: you can get an optician to do it, or do it yourself with a ruler and mirror.

In my case, that worked fine, as I measured 64mm and the optician told me the same on my next visit.

It's really easy with the adjustment screen with the green cross. Simply adjust until vertical lines are clear. And..like the other guy said, measuring your IPD (Google) cannot hurt either.

Just adjusting mine right there, on the spot has always worked fine for me...slide the slider until it looks clear and the images are merged. I never measured anything, I just used the little slider until it looked right. 🙂

While in Oculus home screen do this: on the right controller press the Oculus button,  look to the right you will see a selection box that looks like a sideways 8 (or infinity sign) for two eyes.  Select this and then adjust your head set on your face vertically so that the horizontal green lines are perfectly separated and in focus. Then using the IPD slider adjust it so the vertical lines are perfectly separated an in focus.  Make a note of your IPD number for future reference.  That's it.  Your oculus is properly calibrated for you.  Anytime anyone else uses your oculus you should do these steps for them and then revert back to your settings for you.  Good luck.
