As some of you may remember I had a friend's Vive to play with a while ago, and quite enjoyed it and the tracked controllers.
Early this week he asked me to come over and give him a hand as he was having some issues with the Vive.
Basically after working fine for quite a few weeks he now suddely has issues with the calibration.
We ran the room calibration many many times but he ended up under the floor every time.
Uninstalled and reinstalled SteamVR completely, changed USB slots, even tried a different computer.
Many searches later the only suggested solution we found that we hadn't tried yet was "reinstall windows"
Now for all the crap Oculus is getting about Home, DRM and keeping tight control over their software, I have to say I was very happy to come back home to my Rift and just be able to sit down and play games that run well, in an environment that (for met at least) has been extremely stable.
By the way, if anyone has a suggestion as to how to solve the SteamVR room calibration issue please let me know.
As far as I can tell, however many times we run through the room setup, it never seems to finish
(steamVR keeps asking to complete room setup, error 201 I believe)

You could try lighting the sensor by turning the inside of your CV1 towards your screen.

Due to Home always running / spamming error logs and the fact that the CV1 has no power button and likes to turn on when the area it sit's in is 'dark', its always popping up home and flickering my screen... So, I am having to stop and start OVR Service.
