I am confused on how to download the correct software to make my Oculus Rift DK2 work !

Yes I'm new to the Oculus Rift DK2 , and am having trouble finding the correct software to download with windows 10 in order to make it work ! ive downloaded the rift software and cant get past the set up screen as it doesn't recognize the headset and only  recognizes the one sensor that comes in the kit! Also added to the software I've downloaded SDK 1.3 upgraded to SDK 1.43 like it instructed me to do! However after opening up either one of the SDK files and extracting them , nothing happens , nothing installs , nothing changes, no application process starts , and I'm not for sure what im supposed to do with any of the SDK  file contents! PLEASE HELP!!!!!!

DK2 is no longer supported, you should upgrade to Quest or Rift-S. Maybe you can find a little help here that may or may not work:

Oculus Rift CV1, Valve Index & PSVR2, Asus Strix OC RTX™ 3090, i9-10900K (5.3Ghz), 32GB 3200MHz, 16TB SSD

The SDKs contain what you need to develop Oculus software. They don't contain the runtimes needed to just run the Rift.

If the current Rift software isn't working with the DK2 (support was only officially promised until the end of 2016), the only option is to try the 0.8 runtime: https://developer.oculus.com/downloads/package/oculus-runtime-for-windows/
Be aware though that the 0.8 runtime doesn't support any modern VR game (although maybe SteamVR might work a bit with it, I haven't tried).

There are only ever 2 versions of the recent software available, the latest stable (currently v19) and latest beta (v20PTC). You can't roll back or install other versions between 1.3 (first of the new software in 2016) and v18.

Last I tried (january) the DK2 was kind of working, but the camera tracking was broken so you couldn't move your head (just rotate it). I haven't tried since then to see if it is now completely unusable like the DK1.
