Will it run Oculus okay? I hear Boulder-dash looks great in 3d on a 2d plane, I am worried that the Oculus might not have enough resolution though.

OH YEA... Dungeon Master and Bards tale!!!  2 of my favs.  Add to the Eye of the Beholder series and you have the trifecta.

I was hoping Crystal Rift would be close...Tho I havent tried the full version, only the demo.

Combination of all that and Dread halls atmosphere would be intense.

Edit:.. oh... And BloodWych...replayed that game so many times, and had memorised a number of the early levels.   So much free time as a kid

Fun little story. I was born in Poland in 1982 (the year communism fell there)... lived there until the age of 11 until we moved to the UK. I grew up around computers, Commodores, Amigas, Ataris early PCs with STUNNING 1MB HDDS! My dad was a microelectronics engineer so I took apart and put together VCR's when I was 7 and grew up around ASSEMBLER (I still remember my first apps!)... Probably that's why I love technology and design ... anyway I digress ...

We had those quirky little computer shops ... since the copyright law was almost non existent there at the time ... you could walk into a shop, buy some blank floppies .... then flick through a 200 page catalogue (I remember with laminated pages) choose your game or software and have them replicate it right in front of your eyes for a nominal fee. Not much later I realised what they were doing!

Sounds similar to me in NZ..buy magazines and copyth eBasic code. I think it was Spectrum/C64 back then.

I learnt first coding with Basic. Making a caterpillar style game on C64.

Here we are with game engines and C# and VR etc.

Geeks will be Geeks

The Amiga makes anything possible. Except a commodore USA executive board with a clue how to do business.

I loved my a500. Also had a 1200 and a cd32. In hindsight the latter was a mistake.
I remember the advert they put up for the cd32 (world 1st 32bit games machine.... To be this good will take sega ages (a riff of their add at the time)
Fiat Coupe, gone. 350Z gone. Dirty nappies, no sleep & practical transport incoming. Thank goodness for VR 🙂

I gave my amiga 500 and 1200, my spectrum , my amstrad and my atari st to other people after each upgrade.
Right now the only thing from the past that i know i have (somewhere) is a 300 bps modem... slow BBS age...
