Could do with an announcement of such to give people an insight on stock and how many weeks people should expect to wait.
I have seen people comment about being suck on "order" when placing and order on the 11th, and then other people who have placed orders on the 12-13th have moved passed that point.
I ordered on the 14th I believe and I've been stuck on order since then. I wish their was a customer service number to contact to see what the issue was.
You know, no offense but 50 threads filled with "I ordered on" isn't going to make your purchases arrive any sooner. You will just have to be more patient as they slowly but surely will provide rifts to everyone who purchased.
It would be very courteous of them to at least let us know if it'll be 2 weeks or longer... I would spend the money I have saved for the Oculus on other items I'd like.
Before going to the actual Oculus site I was on Newegg looking at the promotion. It had a "Backordered" tag across the web page. Looks like we'll just have to wait a bit. Good news for all those fledgling VR devs though!
