to clarify, this not being developed in VR (that I know of)
...but I've been hoping for VR graphics like this in a game. I wasn't specifically thinking 1930ish cartoon but thinking more like storybook illustrated graphics. This is definitely along those lines and would be an incredible world to explore in VR.
Amazing "children's books" could be made where you can actually walk around the world illustrated in that type of style while you hear the story.
