I will never buy a $600 Rift. Will my DK2 still work?

I dont care how good CV1 is, or CV2, or whatever comes out later, I cant afford to spend $600 on a video game thing. I didnt buy the PS3 when it was $600, I didnt buy an Xbox One, Im not going to nor will I ever buy a Rift for $600.

I do have a DK2, it was a price I could do, what are the chances that games for CV1 will be backwards compatible with DK2?

I could afford to buy CV1 but I refuse to pay double what I paid for DK2. All the people that pre-orders that's their choice. But if Oculus say as of CV1 and SDK1.0 the DK2 becomes a brick then I will be pissed.

The £529 UK price point is one thing. To render my DK2 useless is another.

If you had preordered early and sold the DK2 it would be like buying DK3 or DK2 again..

I will sell my DK2 when I get CV1 or at least a shipping confirmation. DK2 could be a huge collector though in decades later when VR gets massive popular..

Yeah, but only if it's supported alongside CV1 for awhile.

Precisely.

I'd really like to know the answer to this too.
