Did you mean:

Just got Gear VR and love it. Is it worth getting DK2 also.

Is there a lot more content for the Oculus and how hard for the average gamer to use it. I love everything about the gear VR and wouldn't mind getting one for the CPU if there a lot more stuff.

There is some quality content for the DK2, but it is not plug and play.

Given you already had a taste of VR with the Gear... as a gamer myself who bought the DK2, (and altough I don't regret it) ... my advice is you should wait for the consumer release and/or Vive release.

I really suggest you to use your GearVR and wait for a Consumer Version.. i don't think it's really worth it right now.

I mean, the DK2 is awesome but if you already have a GearVR (that has better resolution,it's wireless.. etc) i don't think you're going to enjoy much more the DK2..,yeah it has Positional tracking and more contents but it's also have a worst resolution and it's no wireless..

Just wait for other cool content on GearVR and for the Consumer Version 🙂

I have both and use gear vr more than dk2. Its so much easier to use even though the content isn't as compelling. I would suggest waiting for the next generation.

It's definitely worth getting a better VR experience than the Gear can currently provide, but don't buy anything yet. In about nine months you'll probably see better VR coming your way.
DK2 is not for "average gamers". It's for game developers who can troubleshoot and fix issues.
Not a Rift fanboi. Not a Vive fanboi. I'm a VR fanboi. Get it straight.

Wait for CV1, gearvr is a better overall experience than dk2. >;{}

100% wait. First you need a powerful Pc to run these games and demos. There are only a few games that have built in dk2 support. Consumer VR starts this fall with HTC vive, Sony's ps4 VR comes out 2nd qtr 2016. Oculus consumer out probably fall 2015-2nd qtr 2016 (this is unknown) so wait.
Every one who has tried the vive says it way better than the DK2. And oculus consumer one will also be way better.
So just wait

If you have a powerful PC with a modern graphics card, i say buy it.

So many experiences and games, you should have it within a week of ordering too.

Only £250 - go for it!
Big PC, all the headsets, now using Quest 3
