Hi All

Wondering if anybody is interested in watching the classic 90's movie The Lawnmower Man in Riftmax on Thursday Night. I'll stream in the complete movie.

Movie Theater will be live at 9.30pm ( GMT - London ) Show time is 10pm

It's a classic VR movie but very dated now. We wont be sitting in silence as we will be chatting while its playing and I will try get some special guest's. I'll post more updates here.

I actually watched (most of) this movie last week. Oh, how it brought back memories! That movie was what really got me excited about the prospect of consumer VR. That, and Dactyl Nightmare of course. I have a couple stickers ready to slap on my DK2 when it arrives. One eye will be "access denied" and the other "access granted". awwww yeah.

Not trolling guys, as I would love to be watching it with you, but don't you need a license of some kind to 'redistribute' a copyrighted movie to an audience? Nice loophole if the MPAA haven't yet included VR in their rules.

We are streaming it in from Youtube so if any law is been broken its a YouTube issue https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zJer9aivOrA

We are planning to do another movie next week. It will likely be Ghost in the Shell and we will start an hour later so more of you guys in the US can join in.

This is such an awesome idea! I hope you plan something like this again after DK2 releases and riftmax updates. I recently sold my DK1 so I can't join anything yet but a gathering like this has me excited for the riftmax theater again.
